On three consecutive trips to the range, the metal clip on the rear of the ejection port snapped into two pieces.

Alter the first occurance, I phoned KT, and they sent me two more clips, both of which broke on the next two trips to the range.

I haven't changed plinking ammo (usually shoot the Wally World white box stuff 9mm with no problems), and shot about the same amount of rounds as I had prior, so these can't be factored into the reasoning as to why these silly little clips keep breaking on me.

Any thoughts folks??

Thanks,
Scott

I'm guessing you don't have them installed properly... leaving a slight gap between the rear ejection port wall the the clip. There should be an audible click as the inside edge of the clip snaps onto the inside of the ejection post.

Midi,

I understand what you're saying about having it "snap in." I'm pretty sure they were properly fastened.

Good advice though.

I think I'm going to put the issue back into the hands of KT.

I'll give Marty a call on Monday.

Thanks,
Scott
