I'd have to say $270 sounds fairly inexpensive for a .45. The Star's have decent reputations among folks on this board but when it come to larger calibers... I start worrying a little more about the bomb in my hand(s).... I've grown attached to them. I tend to prefer a more solid gun with a big name at twice the price... but that's just me.
