When slugging a barrel on a handgun, what is the best procedure for securing the barrel? I want to do a couple of 45's, a CZ 52, and a TT33.

Clamp 2 pieces of wood in your bench vise. Drill a hole on the parting line 1/16 inch smaller than the diameter of the barrel you want to hold. Disassemble, clamp the barrel in the vise using the wood blocks. Lightly oil the barrel, make sure your slug is dead soft lead and not too much larger than the bore. Muzzle loading balls work great.
