Keys,

I contacted Jack about doing the same thing to mine. Do you notice any difference after having it done other than it looks good? Are those night sights? I have always been a fan of the two tone look. I am sorry to say that since I bought my P11, I have shot it but have not carried it yet.

Jack's plated slide fit perfectly, and worked flawlessly on my P-11 when I got it back. Those are factory sights. My assembly pin and slide lock are both hard chromed, so they don't match the nickel, but they do match my hard chromed P-40 conversion top end. I recommend Jack's work, and be sure to send a mag in for plating too.

The Kel-Tec hard chrome exchange is a bargain for $20.00, but it's not as evenly finished when you get it back. See my P-40 pic on the P-40 forum. I have an original P-40, and the P-40 conversion for my P-11, both in hard chrome.

P11 pic

Keys, your P11 is real pretty.
Here's my grandson firing the P11 at the range last summer. He called it "granpa's James Bond gun". He's a big kid for 11 yrs old and had no problem staying in the black with the little 9mm. Better than me even. Gonna put him on the 1911 next summer.

Flyer,
I've seen every custom job possible on a P-11, and to the best of my knowledge that is not a P-11 pic that you posted. :D
I think you're confusing your sidearm piece with your Saturday night........oh forget it. :D

Gee Flyer, judging by that grin on her face, it looks like she digs you. Why aren't you at the range?

Flyer's P11 picture

Keys,
don't you see the P11 she is wearing on that new "around the neck" holster? Look close right at the end of the "holster" at the bottom edge of the picture!

BTW, Flyer, those are the standard wooden benches you get with a free, non-competition range. The really fancy ranges have solid concrete benches so the rimfire rifle guys' rifles will not have even the slightest wiggle or vibration from the bench. Our benches are about 7 yrs old now and getting a little weather beaten. The government put the covers over them last spring. (Taxpayers expense, thank you all for paying your taxes. :p ) We have no regular, on duty range officer, which maybe is scary too when you see some of the types out there.

My everyday carry, great for any occasion

In the city, it's in my pocket. Today it hiked 11.5 miles through Bernheim Forest in a "camera case" on my belt. This is the best money I have ever spent on a hand gun.

nickled mag

That's a nickled mag. I had the gun fluff and buffed and nickle finished by Jack Fuselier. I can definitely recommend it. 1 mag is included in the job and additional mags can be done for a modest fee. When I get my camera back tomorrow I will post a pick of just the mag. Jack's website is:

http://www.gunsmith.fuselier.com/

and his KTOGer offer, which I would assume applies here as well:

Last I heard from him two weeks ago he was taking new business.

Sorry. No bells or whistles here. Just the plain blued P-11 right out of the box but figured I'd add to the pic list. It's my daily carry but I just bought a Springfield Armory XD-9 Sub-compact that I'll be rotating in now.

What kind of Smith is that. 5946 DAO here... :D

Looks like a 2nd Generation 659????
Close! It is a 1st Gen 59 that I installed a belt clip device on. No holster needed. I do have a Kydex holster that I modified to accept the gun with Hip Grip installed. It is also wearing a Hogue Handall.

BTW if any one can ID that Flash light I would be impressed. Hint it is a rechargeable flash light. Not just batteries, but actually a rechargeable flash light. I made the mount because I could never find one of the KT flash light mounts in my area.
