I found this little gem at a Gun Shop. It is in mint condition. The blade is factory sharpened. It is made by Eickhorn-Solingen in Germany. I paid $20 for it. Was this a good deal? Anyone know about this Bayo? Lets post the pics of our Bayonets and Fighting knives here.

Eickhorn is the manufacturer. They're in the Solingen region, which is world-famous for it's special steel. Solingen steel is great steel, especially for things like scissors, straight razors, etc, that need a super-sharp edge. The entire Solingen region is just *packed* with knife-and-edged-items manufacturers. FWIW, I shave with a straight razor, which (vintage 1880-ish), which is made with Solingen steel. It's ~120 years old, and to this day I can shave with it. I give it ten good licks on my leather strop before I start, and away we go! Maybe I'll post a pic sometime...
