Please help: New shells keep falling out of the right mag tube

Hi guys,

I bought a pre-owned KSG recently, and I noticed that whenever I switched to the mag tube on the right, new and unspent shells would sometimes fall out when I racked. There's also a noticeable difference between the left mag tube and the right mag tube. The left mag tube feels smoother when I insert new shells in, and never has any issue. The right mag tube feels less smooth when I reload. I bought it pre-owned so I don't think I can claim any warranty from Kel-Tec. I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

Can you get a picture of the tube openings and the cartridge stops?

Sorry for the late response. I've attached the pictures. I've noticed that the selector switch is kind of loose. It seems to move from its original position a little bit from the recoil of every shot. Is it how it's supposed to be or the selector switch is supposed to be locked tight? I have a Hi-Tech aftermarket selector switch.

Mine is the original but it’s not loose. Are you leaving it in the middle when shooting or over to one side?

I pushed it all the way to one side, and then after each shot, I noticed that it moved toward the middle a little bit. I realized shells are falling out from the left mag tube as well.

Sounds like that lever needs to be fixed so it doesn’t move.

I'll try that. I'll test it out at the range this weekend. I hope that is the issue. Does it ever become loose for you? I wonder if it's because I have an aftermarket part.

Mine never loosens. I wonder if yours is not attached correctly.

I retighten the screw of the switch selector with blue thread lock and the problem is fixed. The shells no longer fall out of the mag tube. Thank you so much for helping me out.
