Your primary carry gun that is carried all the time and not shot that often. Are there springs in the gun that over a period of time being compressed take a set and need to be replaced after so many years? Also should you replace the mag spring(s) after a period of time? Should you rotate your ammo in the mag say every six months by this I mean carry a full mag then refill with one less round for another six months or a year and then load full again does this help the mag spring(s) from taking a set? I am asking this in regards to carry gun preventative maintenance routine along with regular ammo changes and periodic cleaning.

The springs in your gun are fine and don't need replaced or rest.
I'd suggest rotating mags once a month. There's no need to "download" ANY modern magazine. Rotating mags, however, keeps the tension of their springs roughly equal, ensuring uniform performance.
