Fifteen plus years ago I bought a Norinco (Chinese) copy of the Ithica 37. Recently decided to sell it but quickly discovered I would make much less than what I paid for it which was $200. It's a great shooter so I decided to have some fun with it, try my hand at camo painting. The rear ghost ring sight had come loose and wouldn't tighten down, removed it and picked up a slotted pic rail and cut the tall front sight down. My favorite camo pattern is German Flecktatn, started out with a dark earth base then added stripes of brown, then used natural sea sponges to make the flecktarn pattern as close as possible.

Base coat with brown stripes:

Finished gun with red/green dot sight and clear coated.
