Hi all, new member here and I would like to get an idea of my
P11's age SN# is 106XXX I picked it up a few days ago. It
is in great shape, came with 2 mecgar mags with finger extensions steel guide rod, stanless slide. The slide has a
satin type finish. The box says P11-Blued/Black Grip. The
SN# on the box matches the pistol. Thanks for providing a
great place to share info on this firearm.

Sounds like your P-11 is a couple of years old, and has had the hard chrome upgrade... it's unlikely the slide is stainless (not many were made). Also, someone apparently installed a steel guide rod.
I'd say your pistol was made sometime in 2001.

Not sure of the age (mine is 13,2xx from 1995), but they only made the stainless steel version for a short time as problems developed with the slide developing cracks. Could it possibly be hard chrome rather than stainless? If so, a more common version without the cracking difficulties.

My P-11 was purchased in late 2002, has SN#121XXX.

Thanks to all who replied, 2001 seems to be a good starting
point. And the slide must be hard chrome. Boy its sure looks nice.
