I just picked up my brand new in the box HK P7M13 and promptly took it to the range for break-in. Well, as expected, no break-in was needed.

Although I really like my BMI P7 police trade-in for concealed carry, the added grip size and extended trigger guard of the P7M13 produces greater results in my hand.

100 rounds of Wally World value pak through this baby without flaw...and every shot in the black at 25 yards or closer (didn't shoot at greater than 25 yards....yet). This is one sweet pistol!

Yes, I know -- it is considered a pricey piece....but this will be one that never leaves my collection. Especially since rumors are flying around on the HK boards that this model will be discontinued and only the P7M8 will remain in production from the P7 line....

If anyone is interested, this seller (where I bought mine) has NIB ones at a price better than anywhere else I looked:

No fears wildames,

I don't use lead bullets in any of my firearms....I hate scrubbing bores. The closest thing I have in my stock is copper plated lead 9mm rounds -- and I'll save those for plinking with my Sub2K or Camp 9 carbines.

Did you see the German Military P7M8 holsters at sportsman's guide? I bought one and it is a pretty good fit for my CZ-83 and Maks. The length is too much by about an inch, but otherwise fine.

These are beautiful--heavy black leather, hi-quality screws rivits and snaps with an internal hard poly-plastic backbone. Stamped with the HP logo and P7M8 designation. For 10 bucks I guarantee you won't be sorry.

Yep, already got a couple of them -- for $7.97 (since I am a "sucker" for their Buyer's Club).

They've got matching single stack mag pouches -- 2 for $9.97 See: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=78642

Also, they have the German "Bund" BMI duty holsters, like the one that came with my P7 police trade-in for $7.97 -- advertised as a Makarov holster -- but defintely a HK P7 holster -- an in either left or right hand!
See: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=115475

Thanks for the "heads up" though :)

I bought two of the duty holsters and returned them--too long and igh for the mak as well as not a practical holster for any kind of carry except as a vsible sidearm. I missed the mag pouches. Thanks
