Looks like nice work to me. I can tell you that plating is a pain to do, and worth every cent if they do a nice job.

I do the Parkerizing, Niter Blue, Blueing, Teflon, Gun Kote, and Anodizing. I tried gold and nickel plating and had mixed results. I sublet that work out to a shop 100 miles away. It's worth the trip to not have to deal with the ****.

Refinishing a gun is alot like painting a car. What looks nice to some, looks like garbage to others. I'm very picky about the results...so if I cant do it perfect 100% of the time, I dont do it at all. Most of the work is in the prep. Shops that command top dollar do so for a reason.

I just got an email from the guys at Ford's that they no longer offer the Titanium Nitride coating, darnit, I guess the search goes on.
