So I got to shoot my new P3-AT yesterday (finally!!). I think I didn't even hit the target at 5 yards my first 5 shots or so. After making some grip & pull adjustments, I had some nice groupings. I put 150 through it.....mostly WinClean & S&B w/o one FTF or FTE. Not to mention that the last 50 or so were rapid fire (damn that gun gets hot!!). Nice thing was by the end I was double & triple-tapping out at 10 yards & still hitting center mass each time. I certainly wouldn't call the gun "accurate" by any stretch (the lack of proverbial sights), but I think for a mouse gun/close range gun, it could do the job.
A few things I noticed that may need to be changed.....
1) I would REALLY like to see Flyer's internal slide lock. I found myself not paying enough attention & sqeezing after 7 rounds had been expelled.
2) The grip seemed to be a little small (go figure) for my hands. I am thinking of adding some AGrip to make it more user friendly. Anyone have experience with that?
All-in-all, I am pleased. The guys at the gun shop/range weren't big fans of the KT......don't like the way it is made. They said they'd much prefer a NAA .22mag. Nothing wrong with that, I'd just take the KT with a hot load any day!!!
