Dressed up my Sub a bit!
Well I needed to order a new extractor for my P3AT a week ago and since I had them on the phone :roll: I thought why don't I get a few things for the Sub too! Combine that with the gun show last weekend (first in a while) and my Sub is sporting all kinds of new goodies! It is now the primary home defense weapon in my household, over my P3AT w/laser, my G26, and my Springfield 45.
Here's the list:
Sling > from KT
Stock extension > from KT
Mag holder > from KT
Bottom Picatinny rail > from KT
Side Picatinny rail > from gun show
Tactical light > from gunshow
Laser > from gunshow
I have the pressure switches for the light & laser abreast one another right where my thumb falls on the front grip under a piece of bicycle tube. It's easy to hit either one or both just by rocking my thumb.
It lives under my bed. The mags are kept in the pistol safe next to the bed. I feel like it's an excellent tool for the job should it be required!

Hey SNAFU, I like it... I keep toying with getting one. My local guy says he can get it for $275 in Glock mags. I guess what I like about it is having a rifle in a hand gun load. In a SHTF situation, I would think that someone w/o a lot of gun experience could handle it pretty well.
I have the SU-16, which is an amazing weapon... but i can hear the KT Sub talking louder and louder to me...

Your sub looks pretty cool. It is amazing what a few little additions will do to a gun!
