This is the next gun i will be buying, even though i have exausted my savings for my habit, er...hobby. It certainly seems worthwile, seeing how my wife gripes when i buy a new gun. This time, I'm gonna hit her with something big. Everybody else, feel free to contribute your next Dream Gun.

Nice!
I don't really know what my next Dream Gun is.
I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be one of my own designs, built at an exorbitant price by freelance CNC companies.
The 1911, however, will ALWAYS be a Dream Gun... even if you've got 100 of 'em!

I try not to think about 1911s. Love to have something like the S&W 1911 or a Springfield Loaded. But between work and a very active 3 year old, I hardly have time to shoot what I carry for proficiency much less a 1911 for fun.

Semi-autos confuse my wife so it's only revolvers around the house and a 1911 is too big for carry so I know if I got one it would just sit in the safe these days. Maybe in a few years.

In the meantime, I just fondle my Dad's Ithaca 1911A1 from WWII from time to time. Shot it a couple of times, don't want to put any mileage on it.
