Full Cap Generic-Looking Mags...

Sound like Promags. Not great BUT hey, in the PRK take em!
Having just bought my Su-16CA the other day (get it on the 11th, woot!), I dug through my extra mags. About 8 or 9 years ago a lady whose boyfriend died gave me a tacklebox full of stuff, including a bunch of cleaning stuff, spare ammo, and about a couple dozen magazines. I've given away most of them over the years whenever I run across someone who has a matching gun... only 8 mags left! A pair of Ruger .22LR mags, a couple pairs of .45 mags, and 2 full cap .223 mags.
So these suckers are all black metal, black follower, no stamping anywhere on them. The follower has no "legs" on it. They seem pretty cheap, but in the PRK, pretty much happy to have what I've got.
In examining them, one of them the feed lip is quite noticably lower than the other, and since it's not connected to the back, I'm guessing I can bend it to match with some pliars? The other is identical except the feed lips are more symetrical and even. The floorplates are flat, with single hole about 1/2" from the "nose" end. The nose-end thin-side has a single hole about 1/4" from the top. The tail-end thin-side is solid, no holes. The mags have curved bodies.
My questions are:
1. Think it's ok for me to bend the feed lip up a tad to make the lips even?
2. Think they're safe to use?
3. Think it's much of an issue that there are no markings on them at all here in PRK land? Or should I just toss'em?
4. Is it possible to replace the followers with the "leggy" kind for smoother feeding?
5. Anyone with a clue of the maker?
Thanks!
