I noticed that a 9x21mm barrel is available for the Steyr M and S series pistols. Wondering if this cartridge was worth looking at in comparison to 9x19mm or .357 Sig. -- which I already have.

Can't find much information on the cartridge via internet searches. Seems as if ammo availablity will be limited.

You can pretty much ignore the 9x21.
It's a cartridge designed for used in countries that won't allow military cartridges to be chambered in civilian pistols... hence, no 9mm Luger. So, they simply made a longer case and loaded it to the same specs.
