I shot a friend's 500 S&W Revolver for the first time last night.
That's an impressive gun. The recoil really wasn't that bad. The $2 per round ammo cost is what would keep me from shooting it much if I owned one, rather than the recoil.
The ported barrel really keeps the barrel flip to a minimum, and it's extremely accurate. The stock trigger was also very smooth.
