KTrange.com proudly announces it's first annual postal match!
The match will include 3 classes of competition:
1) Kel-Tec Class 1: P-32/P-3AT
2) Kel-Tec Class 2: P-11/P-40/P-357
3) Open Class: Any handgun with iron (or plastic) sights
No scopes or optics allowed in any class.
Prizes: (to be announced) will be awarded to the top 3 contenders in each class.
Eligibility: Any KTrange.com member with 10 or more posts. That means about 400 of you are currently ineligible because you have never posted anything so, if you want to shoot, start talking! KTrange.com administration and their immediate family members are ineligible to win awards. Members can compete in any or all classes but are limited to one entry per class.
Course of fire: (2) ten round targets to be shot at 5 and 10 yards from the standing offhand position. No part of your body can be in contact with anything that would provide support to steady your aim. This is a 2 stage match consisting of two targets. Shooting the match involves shooting both stages, reshooting either stage is not allowed. You may reshoot the entire two stage match but you are not to shoot multiple matches and pick the best stages from different matches to form your total score. As in most matches, any shot that breaks the ring of a score boundry is scored at the higher point value. Tied scores will be broken by the number of X ring shots. Targets are to be witnessed and scored by any NRA member (other than the shooter himself). Witnesses’ name, signature and NRA ID number to be provided on the rules and entry/score sheets.
Targets: Official KTrange.com postal match targets, rules and entry forms will be available for download here in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
Fee: A $1.00 entry fee per class to help defray award and shipping costs. Cash is preferable. Each submission must be mailed separately and must include the signed, witnessed rules and entry/score sheets along with both targets.
Deadline: Entries must be postmarked by July 31st, winners to be announced on August 15th.
Stay tuned for more details and prize announcements.
