Bought a Sub 2K in 9mm. I took it to the range today and was very dissapointed in the accuracy. At 10 yards I shot a 5" group. Then I tried factory loads and shot a quarter size group. Ok, it don't like my hand loads ( 125 grn LRN with Clays at 3.1 grn). Looks like I will have to experiment with loads. Would anyone have some loads that they are happy with? Oh by the way my 3" bbl Springfield EMP loves them. Any help would be appreciated. :lol:

Sounds like It does fine with factory ammo. I would shoot,clean, shoot,clean...several times before making any totally rash judgements. Just out of curiosity, have you shot the handloads out of any other 16" barrel to determine whether the load/bullet weight are compatible with the longer barrel?

Sub lead reloading
This works for me, 4.1Gr of W231 using a Lee 356-120-TC 9mm Luger, (356 Diameter) 120 Grain Truncated Cone from a 6-Cavity Bullet Mold , made from wheel weights,1.070 col. you need to add some rubbing Alcohol to thin out the alox lube and buy some welders soap stone ( it is used to mark metal to be cut ) grate it and powder the bullets in a tupper ware bowl, This bullet runs 1025 fps out of my glock 17 with little leading and feeds great in both the sub and glock.

I recently purchased a Sub-9. I've looked everywhere, but can't find even a single box of 9mm ammo for the range. I found someone selling a complete new in the box 9mm reloading setup. By complete I mean that I even got enough cases, primers and powder to load 1000 rounds. Now I just need to purchase some bullets and I'll be all set to have some fun at the range.
I'm looking for some advice on the the best bullets to buy for the range. I'm looking at getting 125 grain, T/C Flat Point bullets. Would these feed reliably or would it be better to use a round point bullet? What weight bullet should I get? Are lead bullets ok or should I use jacketed?
