    Hornady 30 grain v max

Checking to see if anyone shoots this ammo . I know I'm supposed to use a 40 grain bullet . I have access to Hornady ammo at a good price . My gun is fairly new and on last outing it went through 2 clips of mixed 30 and 40 grain bullets . Just checking to see if anyone uses the 30 grain v max , without issues .

My PMR will eat the 30 grain but I have never tried them in my CMR. My CMR loves the 45 grain hornady. Just get a box and try them.

I did check my clips , took off bottom plate and removed the spring , seemed like the follower was binding up . A couple of swipes with Emery cloth , then follower slid smoothly through entire length of travel . Now eats the 30 grain v max Hornady bullets like candy . Next time I buy ammo I will try the 45 grain .
