Uuh, no disrespect intended, but I'd really like to know what drugs you're on. I need a good pain reliever at times. Thanks for your help. Snat

    Thanks,
Sorry. Didn't see this way back when. The top rail is an A.R.M.S. carbine length rail intended for the carbine length (M4) flat top AR15 (about $100). It's mounted backwards from the intended design, and just happened to fit correctly. The BUIS are made by Yankee Hill Machine (about $50 ea), and are in my opinion the best of the reasonably priced models. The rail system is anchored to a UTG 5 slot quad rail (1st gen) that was made by combining 2 tri-rail clamps. Believe it or not the entire rail/sight setup can be removed by simply pulling one screw and it will still fully fold, but not lock with the sight rail off. And returns to zero when added back and tightened down.

I would not recommend this course for anyone as the best way to go. I just had some disposable income that summer, an inquiring mind, and the time to try some different things out. It took me most of the summer and about 4 different configurations before I settled on this one.

Like the chrome, plinker. BTW remember that KT has a four and two rail front for the sub. Getting one now is a little difficult. Call them about the status.

As the Sub2K moderator at a different Kel-tec forum I do try to keep up with current events. But thanks for the heads up.
