Best ammo for SU-16CA

My first post here. Have a new SU-16CA w M16A2 FH. I'm in WA state, and just like the full stock, heavier barrel of the CA. What works 'best' in these shorter bbls? Plan on 62Gr as main ammo. Suspect 55Gr would be OK, too. Any thoughts for best accuracy at100-150 yds?

They are 1:9" so either 55gr or 62gr should be fine. I vastly prefer the M855 in my AR, so I would start there in the SU, especially with the heavier stock and barrel. for accuracy something like Black Hills is probably going to be the best, but I would get a feel for it before spending lots on expensive ammo for it.

Thanks, just what I thought. This is really a nice rifle for the price, a great grab and go gun, or stick it in the bug out bag or trunk. I am impressed with the overall quality of my rifle, hope it shoots well. Will hopefully get some range time after Thursday.

My Su-16C loves the WW RAnger 60gr Nosler Partition load (LE Only). With a good rest and a Eotec it will do MOA on a good target.
