Does the SU 16B have a way to lock action open?

I know a guy at a gun shop that has an SU 16 B for sale for $495.00. It is his gun & he's shot a few hundred rounds though it. He's including rings for a scope & shell buffer if I want to have it installed. Is it needed or is there no problem with possibly getting hit by shell casings? Also, Gear reviewer Nutnfancy on You Tube has a gun review he did on the SU 16 C in which he shows that you can lock the action open. Is this also the case with the SU 16 B? I generally like to store my semi-autos with the safety on & the action locked open.

99% sure that part of the SU/PLR-16 is the same across all models.

I don't personally like the idea of storing a firearm, especially an autoloader, with the action open. Great way to get something in there you don't need, and it certainly can't be any good for the springs. Magazine springs may tolerate long-term storage loaded (i.e. spring compressed) but it might not be a good thing for an action/recoil spring.

The question was can you lock the bolt open... no spring physics required... my bolt doesn't seem to lock back without a empty clip in it. I have SU16-F made for Canada MuzzFuzza

At the base of the magazine housing, isn't there a little button you can push up or in that will allow you to hold the bolt open? But I agree, I would think this isn't good practice (to leave it that way).

I have the Bravo model, yes you can lock the bolt to the rear at anytime. The bolt catch is at the base of the magizine well, in front of the trigger. Pull the bolt to the rear, press bolt catch upward while you slowly(safety) release the bolt forward. That should do it. Wasn't sure if you already figured it out or not...
