Okay, What scopes are you guys using.

As you guys can tell from my previous post I am looking for a scope for my Su. I do not know enough about them to make a educated choice. I have read and read and read, and I just can't figure out what would be a good choice. So I am reverting to you guys and your knowledge of the rifle and what would be a good choice. So come on guys help the FNG out. I am looking for something in the 100-150 dollar range.

I currently have a Simmons 2-7 Power on the SU. I will be changing it to a Simmons 22 Mag 3 x 9 AO this thanksgiving.
We have about 4 of the 22 Mag scopes on different rifles. They give us a 3/8 inch 5 shot group on the savage 17 hmr. On no rifle do we get a larger than an inch at 100 yards.

The su has more recoil, than the other rifles with 22 mag scopes, but because of the accuracy I'm getting with the other toys, I'd like to try it out.

I originally put the Simmons 2x7 on the SU because the 22 mag model was sold out all over the place and someone on this forum reported good results with the 2x7.

The 2x7 was about 80 bucks at cabelas and the 3x9 was 120?

My bigger rifles have Leopolds on them, except for the model 71, I have no idea what that scope is besides old.

Good Luck, picking out and setting up a scope is almost as much fun as picking out a rifle.
