    Optics questions

Hey all , Another newb here .
I just purchased a CA model , and would like to add a scope via leupold quick release rings while retaining the factory rear peep .
While I wait for my gun (PRK) I had a bud run to the gun store and measure the height of the rear peep over the picatinny .
He measured a hare over half inch , Can any one confirm this ?
Even with Leupolds "high" rings it'll be tough .

Also does anyone make a fold down rear site that will work with the su-16 ?

    Thanks in advance .

I have a 1.5-4.5 x32 with the Leupold high QD rings and it is just enough clearance, it is "tight". There isn't a fold-down rear sight that will work BUT you could try see-thru rings.

It holds zero very well, doesn't seem to need adjustment, although that may prove different with a higher magnification scope.

Couldn't find any darn batteries, I had to raid the earthquake bug-out kit, here you go...

Hope that helps, if you want a close-up (larger) on any of those pics, let me know
