    Magazine storage

The SU-16A is advertised to hold either both factory 10 Rd. mags or a 20-30 Rd. mag in the buttstock. I can get the 10s in just fine, no brainer. How does a 30 round mag fit in there. I can't get mine to go. Any takers? Thanks, you'se guys is a riot!

20 rounder will fit in easy but the 30 will only go in one way and only after you give it a good tap.

The 30-rounder *will* go in, but like markster said, it's not as easy as with the stock 10-rounders.

If you manage to get it into the stock, then you'll find that a 30-round mag in the buttstock is NOT easy to take out if you need it in a hurry. For this reason I keep the stock 10-rounders in the buttstock rather than any of my 30-round mags. Rather have 20 easily-accesible backup ammo vs. 30 almost-inaccessible backup rounds.
