    -Cost 110.00 to Ks Attorney General 40.00 to local sheriff's office

    -Required Documents -Official Ks ID or drivers lic.-CCW certification class certificate -completed application - 2"x2" photo (pass port style)these must be turned into the local sheriff's office of residence along with all fees.

    Informing Law Enforcement of Carry -must inform LEO of CCW if asked

    Automobile carry allowed (with in reach/control (does not have to be on person HB 2528 )

    thanks for starting a Kansas thread. I took the liberty to make it a "sticky" along with the rest of the states we have discussed thus far.

    Kansas looks a lot like Texas from your "condensed version". I haven't taken the time to read all the links to verify this assessment, but will when I have more time.

    Here is an update for 'Recognition of Non-Resident Licenses '
    Before July 1 we didn't recognise non resident type licence (Like if you lived in NY but had a licence from FL) but we do now

    Looks like they have just improved it in a lot of ways to make it make more sense.
