UPDATE: It's now been a little over two months since I sent in my paperwork to the BATF. Still no reply (I guess my earlier hope of a quick return was a bit TOO optimistic) but I like to believe no news is good news in this case. With three months until Christmas, maybe I'll find a little present from the feds in my mail just in time for the holidays this year!

Hopefully, when I post my next update in another month (or less) it will be to say the stamp came in the mail, my project was completed and it's finally time to hit the range and try out my new "boy toy".
Looks like the "stamp came in the mail" scenario by my next update didn't pan out. Another month (#3) and still no stamp but at least I haven't received a rejection letter so no news is still good news... more or less. I figure if I haven't seen a reply from the ATF by Thanksgiving I might try contacting them on the status of my application, definitely by Christmas if there's still no news one way or the other.

Hopefully they'll get it to you before the holidays... If this is your first NFA item I think it takes a tad longer than subsequent ones.
Better than circa 2008 when everyone was buying things like crazy hoping to be grandfathered in the event of another ban... Wait times were going over a year
LATEST UPDATE: It's now passed the four month mark since I sent in my application and still no info on my stamp. So much for "prompt service". Still, I also haven't received a rejection letter yet so I suppose no news is still good news. I'll give it a bit longer before I try contacting the BATF... but not too much longer!
The stamp will take awhile, I think mine was 4-6 months.
I like how all of the accessories on that gun cost more than the gun itself... Looks like a fun toy tho

...and quality optics cost a few $$.
If this were an AR SBR project, that would not be the case.
