How many folks have been able to buy a PLR yet? I've seen several members with posts saying they own one, but I've had local gun dealers in my area (E. TX) checking for several weeks and they all say their distributors haven't received any yet. The dealers were told by their distributors that all PLR's would be issued on consignment and it could be 6 months before any reach the dealers.

A series of family demands have prevented me from attending a gunshows since October. No family emergencies (that I know of) this weekend but the nearest show is 150 mile round trip and now they are now forecasting sleet and freezing rain. Even if I brave the weather most of the dealers wont be there because we don’t know how to drive on anything but dry pavement in this part of Texas
I did pick up four black Teflon 30 round mags (mail order $75) this week to go with my Forend and Deflecting Operating Handle that fit my nonexistent PLR-16

I checked with two local dealers again today and between them, they contacted ten different wholesalers/distributors in the last week and none had PLR's. Two distributors said they expect a few in the next month or so and one said to check back in about two weeks. I guess they're showing up in different parts of the country at different times, though I'm surprised the dealers here haven't found ANY available, anywhere they checked.
For any of you that may have one already, have you purchased the accessories available from K-T and if so, did you have to call or were they available online. I didn't see a link to the PLR accessories anywhere at the K-T site, though they list accessories as being available.
The only thing that they had available was the forend. I am not sure if the single point sling is available yet. Kel-Tec was projecting February but I have not called back to check.
I purchased the Forend and Deflecting Operating Handle from Brock for $61.50 (a discount price) including shipping. I also picked up some Black Teflon 30-Round magazines from CDNN.
