    folding stock on KEL-TEC PLR-16

I am wondering if anyone knows of a company that would have a folding stock to fit on my KEL-TEC PLR-16. Any info would be greatly appreciated. And also if it is possible to put a folding fore grip on the PLR-16.

You can't do it since it would then make it a short barreled rifle.

Actually you can but you have to pay the federal government $200 for manufacturing a SBR and should it ever be sold there will be an additional $200 due each time

    Wilson – who’s thinking a SU-16D9 stock might be a consideration

Anyone know if there is an exemption on the SBR for law enforcement officers?

From what I've read...only for the department. If it's owned by you, even if it's for departmental use...it must be SBRed and pay the $200 tax stamp.

One of our other members has already gone through the process. There is a lot of useful information in the thread for others who wish to go this route. You can find it here: Turning a PLR into a SBR
