    Next Question - Safety Ammo

I know...Safety ammo is a contradiction in terms. While browsing 9mm ammo for my PF-9, I came across these:

Ammo 9mm Allegiance PowerStrike High Energy Transfer Frangible 90 Grain 20 Round Box 1250 fps

They look to be akin to a Glazer, and since I live in closely packed apartments, I'm thinking it might be wise to keep some handy for the nightstand time. Has anyone heard anything about them, good or bad?

Thanks again for your time and any help you can provide.

    Later!

Never tried them but may I make another suggestion? Hornady Critical Defense is designed to avoid over penetration. May be an answer for the potential problem.

A lot of people here and at KTOG seem to like those. Might be something to it. If I can find any, I'll give them a shot.

    Thanks!

I'd give a 2nd on the Critical Defense. That other stuff may work....and then again it may not. Critical Defense is ALWAYS going to work. Not to mention that I would not buy anything fron CTD after the way they have jacked up their prices of late.

The rounds I got from there seemed reasonable. <20 for 50 of the FMJ rounds, and <25 for 20 solid copper hollow points. But, since I have zero ammo on hand, and neither do any stores anywhere near here, I got what I could find. Once this craziness settles down, I'll definitely try some of those out.

Everything is nuts right now. People have lost their power of reason and are buying just to believe they have some control. It's all an artifical sortage caused by panic buying just like 2008..
