9mm ammo finally at Wal-Mart

I guess today was my lucky day. Wal-mart finally had 9mm ammo. I would have bought ammo at other places but in my small town wal-mart is about the only place that has it. So this week I am going to finally go and test fire the "new" PF9 since back from KT 5 months or ago.

Is it the Federal stuff dilly? That's what I've been buying of late, and it works really well. Put 10 of 10 in the orange of an X-4 target @ 7 yds the other day with it

Yeah its the Federal stuff. Nana I bought a few boxes of it before I thought but maybe it was packaged different? I can't remember if it was Federal or not though, what ever I used to buy at wal-mart shot great every time. The only problem with some of them was where the bullet was pressed into the casing it was out of round almost like it was pressed in straight, other than that I had no problems.. I was going to go today but this freaking weather is holding me back. Maybe tomorrow?

I have been getting some ammo at Wally World here - you just have to catch them right when the shipment comes in.

They have had mostly .40 S&W ($28.50 a box of 100) - it just went up to $29.97 this week. They seem to get it in on a regular basis.
The prices have pretty much been flat except for this last increase.

They have recently been getting some 9mm (~$21.00 a box of 100) and some .380 auto ($33.50 a box)

They do have a limit on how many boxes you can get (depends on the store)

Maybe supply is finally catching up with demand.

Yeah, I think the ammo freeze is finally starting to thaw out a little, especially in 9mm, .40, and 5.56.

Picked up 200 rounds of Western white box 9mm last week at Wally World - just to replace what I shot on the range with my wife and daughter a couple of weeks ago. (~$21 per box of 100)

The clerk said that they had gotten 6 boxes of 9mm, .380 ACP and .40 S&W on the truck about 1:00 that afternoon, and that when they got it in (once a week), it is usually sold by the next day. I bought one box of 100 .380 ACP for ~.$33.00
