    Zippered Holster

Does anyone use a zippered type pistol rug for their 3AT? I like the one supplied with the gun, hides pretty well in my front pocket, but for some reason hate to use it exclusively---don't want to wear it out, not sure if kel-tec will sell me another one. I like total zipped up enclosure to keep gun clean and discreet. Anyone know another source for a similar type holster?

If you need to get to your gun it would be hard to put in play very quick.

My sister-in-law uses a P3AT zipper case with the letters blacked out for her P32.

She hot glued the bottom zipper handle about half way down. On the top zipper handle, she put a small length of parachute cord with a knot on the end, for opening. She also glued the strap to help prevent shifting. After a lot of presentation practice, it actually works quite well.

Is it something I would wear... probably not, but I wear my pants loose enough to get in and out of my pockets easily.

Hey, I like the looks of that Desantis holster in the picture---my question is, can the belt clip be removed from the back so it will easily drop into a front pocket? If it would, that is just what I am looking for.

    Thanks to all who replied.

I have a spare zippered Kel-Tec case if you want one. I may even have a choice of color.

I'm seriously conisdering one these. I haven't seen one first hand, but I like the concept. Maybe a little bulky. Carry in plain sight?

I mostly use it for travel. It stows in the console or clips nicely to the visor with the zipper open. If I did carry it in public like that, I doubt anyone would ask these days with all the stuff people carry, PDAs, etc. Still, I prefer pocket carry.
