    32NAA KelTec ?

Any rumors floating around about the possibility of a KelTec NAA32 caliber pistol?

I know that North American Arms Co. has a pistol in that caliber, in the "Guardian" size. I just wondered if our favorite firearms manufacturer was contemplating a platform for that ammo.

Just curious. I think it would be a nice addition to KelTec's line, as I think the NAA32 round has more zip than the standard 32cal. round.

I haven't heard any such rumors, but, I was wondering why Chan Bates at the other place is suddenly selliing his conversion when only a handful were made by Kel-tec and sold to some forum members a few years ago. Does he know something that we don't know... like maybe the market might soon get flooded with them, making his worth less? Who knows I believe those few that were made by Marty were on the P32 platform.

It seems that several 32NAA conversions are out there. Flyandscuba posted the following:

In all reality, the only factory conversion you may hope to see for the P-3AT will be one in .32NAA.....but then, 4 or 5 of those already exist -- mine is even in hard chrome!

(I know, -- but don't you think enough time has passed for this "secret"?)

How does the NAA32 round compare to the 32cal? How does it perform in your pistol? Wouldn't this be a logical improvement over the P32? Thanks.

Actually, Tx, I believe you're talking about the first batch of P-32s that were indeed sold to members of KTOG at a reduced price. These were NOT conversions, but the very first P-32s.
The .32 NAA is a FAR more powerful cartridge than the .32 ACP... and even has distinct advantages over the .380! If and when KT announces a new pistol/conversion kit for .32 NAA it'll be for the P-3AT, NOT the P-32 - and even then it'll be tougher on the pistol's frame than the .380 is.
Still... given the choice, and being very familiar with all three cartridges, I'd be carrying my KT in .32 NAA. 8)

what is needed for this conversion other than a new barrel and perhaps stronger springs?

    Will the stock magazine work?

    32NAA in Kel-Tec

Chan sold me his 32NAA conversion kit. It is based on the P-3AT and retains the firing mechanism, grip, and magazine. New are the barrel, slide, recoil springs and recoil spring guide.

Getting a prototype that was hand built by Marty and gang seemed like a great deal.

Chan did the F&B, so it should be ready to go.

I ordered the range and defense ammo from NAA as they were a little cheaper than Corbon. I just received the shipment last night and hope to get out Thursday for range testing. I'll post my results.

    32NAA Range Report

My 32NAA converted from my P-3AT worked flawlessly. I was having "mild" smilies with the .380, but with the 32NAA, none!

Recoil was a bit sharper, but my accuracy was better, all shots to the center two rings. Some of the accuracy might be due to the Agrip covering I added to the grip.

And, thanks to Wilson's favorite recommendation, the finger extension (well it is the clunky Bersa version), and that was a factor in improving my accuracy as well.

The Corbon 32NAA FMJ is rated at 1200fps and 192 ft lb.

This is my new carry. Thanks Chandler!.
