pocket, i saw the video tim schmidt from us concealed carry posted about that topic. i think the army uses sub standard springs or maybe they are just that heavily used but i have hed mags get so decompressed that when removed from the mag well shaking them caused rounds to fall out. i am thinking about buying a few of my own mags next deployment though. i liked the ones my company purchased and they were the only ones i have seen that were newer then 1995.
Totalitarianism didn't come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria . Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we hadcreeping gradualism Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

    That is just plain scary.

As an alternative to complete mags, you might think about just buying a bunch of springs. Bring a few hundred and sell them to your buddies at cost.

I guess I won't bitch about having to resort to buying my own Post-It notes at work anymore...

OBTW, when pocket says it, it gets passed over. But when Tim "USCCA" Schmidt says it, it is suddenly heeded. I see how it is. Now if I can get Tim to lay off the daily spam he emails me...

i had same problem with rattle after 7 same as you. once you put all 10 rounds in mag go to opposite side of the number 10 and push gently with toothpic and rattle is gone.

I found a way years ago to stop that rattle.

Used to slap the magazine and that would only stop it about half the time.

Then for whatever reason I took a ink pen and stuck it in the witness holes and pushed on the bullets and that took care of it.

You got to get rid of that rattle because it makes the gun look like a POS.

Or you could always buy Smith & Wesson 669 magazines!!!

This will be great if I can get it to work in my after market 15 round mags. I bought 3 of them. All 3 rattle at the 8 bullet. My 10 round that came with the firearm does not rattle. Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to try this out.
