yes, i have the same mag problems. a long time ago i found that a small screwdriver incerted in the lower round indicator hole, pushed down, will stop the rattle.

Same principle, but the q-tip won't bugger up your mag's finish or scrape the brass casings like steel will. The difference is probably not significant, admittedly.

I have the original magazines that came with the pistol (P-11). Both made in Italy. This may be odd, but here is my "Rattle Story." With 8 rounds in the mag it doesn't rattle, with 9 rounds in the mag it rattles, with 10 rounds in the mag it doesn't rattle.
So, I guess the simplest solution is to carry either 8 in the mag and one up the spout, or 10 in the mag and 1 up the spout.
I carry 10 in the mag and one up the spout, and switch magazines from time to time to let the follower spring rest.
I was just wondering if anyone makes a different follower for the P-11 magsOriginally Posted by pocketgun

Pro Mag and S&W both make mags that work in the P-11: don't know if their followers would work or not.

I'm glad i joined here, after i bought my p11 xmas gift.
It fixed the noise problem! Thanks PG!
Love the smell of napalm in the morning
Glad to have you around Napalm. Glad my little trick stopped the rattle for you as well. I would just use it for a mag that I was going to carry, not for the range.
Hey, don't forget to post a "hello" for us in the Welcome Thread too, OK?

Pocketgun,
Many thanks, the rattle was driving me crazy.
Glad it worked for you. It seems to work for most people that try it.
