I think the P11 (and P40 too) are a great package for winter carry. 12+1 of full-power 9mm in a package easily carried IWB or in a coat pocket. I am hoping that KT will make a second generation P11 with a P32/P3AT style trigger system. If they release it at the 2007 SHOT show, I would buy one, even if I already owned the (rumored) single stack 9mm.
