I have a 16" Saiga in 5.56... The Saigas come in a sporter configuration and you have to convert them to the typical AK layout but after that you can use any standard AK mag of proper cal.

I picked it because of the superior quality of the Saiga, thie specific one cause I can share the ammo with my AR and one day I'd like to pick up an AR mag adapter for it, they're nice pieces- they can easily be removed to go back to AK mags at any time without tools, just rock it out attached to the AR mag as you would any AK mag, insert AK mag and back to original.

Same for me except mine is a 7.62x39. Added an aftermarket foregrip with rails but kept the factory "sporter" buttstock. The setup is great for deer, hogs, bear, zombies and anything of similar size out to 150 yards (about as far as I can hit most things with these 60+ year old eyes w/o a scope).
