.380 Beretta Model 70s

I recently bought a used Model 70s. Judging from the appearance of the pistol and how difficult it was to break down (very very tight fit) it has not been used much. This is a "Garcia" pistol and I have 5 "Garcia" mags on order fro Ammo-clip. Anyways I haven't shot this gun yet and what I'm looking for is any feedback on how the gun shoots and if it has any quirks I should be aware of before I take it to the range. This is a great looking gun and it feels great in my hand I just it shoots as well as it looks and feels.

"Tuesday evening I had some bad luck. The rear sight blade is held in place and the windage adjusted by two opposing little screws. I finished off the day doing a lot of point shooting from 5-7 yards.
Wednesday morning when I picked up the gun to do some more shooting I saw one screw was backed way out and the sight blade was gone. I searched the books and net for a replacement blade, with of course no luck.
A number of times Wednesday I drug a magnet through the grass, with little hope of finding the sight. The thing could have flown anywhere.
A little before dark I tried again and talk about luck, the magnet snagged the sight just as I was about to give up.

Yeah he was really lucky. I guess I'll be using some Loctite today. Here is mine.

Boy, that is a sharp-looking pistol. Beretta sure knew how to make them look nice (Px4 excepted, of course.)

I couldn't agree with you more! The PX4 is atrocious looking.

Sorry my pics didn't come thru. After my initial shooting I took my 70s to a smith and had the slide and frame deburred. Made all of the difference in the world. Took my Thunder 380, my Mod 70s and my Beretta 86 out this morning and put a 100 rnds thru each, 90 PMC and 10 Hydrashok. All guns worked perfectly. Of the 3, I think the 86 is the best overall, the Bersa is the best CC and the 70s is the best looking.

I oicked up another .380, a Sig Sauer P232, stainless with rosewood grips. A beautiful gun and a great shooter. Man I really love .380s, I think I like them more than (mms.
