I'm not making a judgement call either way on the justification for the shooting and the circumstances that caused it since I don't know all the details. OTOH, I have owned a PF-9 for a number of years and it's good to know that in a real world situation the gun worked as advertised. It also goes to show that it's as much about shot placement (one shot to the heart, one instant kill) as it is about the caliber used.
