Do you grease or oil your Kel-Tec?

When I first starting using my P-3AT, it took some getting used to as far as how to lube it. I had mainly been a Glock person, which runs better dry. I use Ballistol and just a few drops, in strategic places, is all the Glock needs. But for the P-3AT, it seems to avert FTE issues it cannot be the least bit dirty or dry. Taking the advice of those that have used Kel-Tecs for years, I started greasing (lightly) the rails with something like Slip200 EWL grease and then lubing with Ballistol or Slip2000 lube the other areas.

What do you guys find works best?

grease works better on kel tec's on the rails and barrel lug area. i also put grease on the hammer and the trigger bar area. i use light oil on the barrel. for some reason kel tec run better with grease. my glocks like five drops of oil in five places.

Regarding the P3AT, what Frank said goes for me too. I really like Shooter's Choice synthetic grease. It is light enough and stays in place well. The smoothness of mine seems to impress other P3AT owners. Admittedly, it has been polished a bit, but the grease makes a huge difference!

I use Lubriplate 105 assembly grease on the rails of my PF-9 and break free on the rest of the gun.

Oil for me, CLP, but I did an extreme fluff and buff on mine, barrel and feed ramp look like shiny chrome, the slide and internals were CeraPlated by CCR in Tennessee, so it's always run smoothly and never malfunctioned.

Sounds worthy of a few pictures! Especially since some of us on this forum enjoy gun porn.
