A full sized 1911 style in .45...with a Kel Tec type grip and frame would be cool.

LOVE my P-40 as daily carry. Mine was made in 2000. If you are a 'pussy", then do not get one!!
Yes, I wish there was a SIG 357 easily available, as I would buy that too!
Oh, My P-40 was issued to me and got to take it with me when I retired.
Wonderful weapon!
Molon Labe
pmr-30 same weapon only in .22lr, for me an old man, super fun super cheap ammo, would also decrease demand on the 22 mag version.
just got one today in dallas, it is the first one they got, first come first served (22 mag),i literally called when the unit was delivered buy the shipping carrier. bought for 432 dollars, he was going to start calling his waiting list - but i called first was there in 20 minutes to purchase. i got real lucky, keep calling people checking at various outlets.
new news - production has stopped, until the new year 2013 according to a major retailer, they are trying to fill past orders and catch up b/f end of year
Not true, according to the Kel Tec Facebook page.

Has production on the PMR-30 been halted again? I would like to confirm or kill this rumor.

Kel-Tec Will, we are producing this gun on a daily basis. Demand is out the roof on it. Believe me, we are pumping them out as fast as humanly possibly.

facebook info is old - look at the date of the facebook response in september,
my info was as of yesterday - 10-10-2012 next time before you attempt to call someone a liar, you might consider getting your info right, and not try and showing off.....
keltec is producing old orders, not producing any new orders for the pmr30 until after the new year - my info is from a more reliable source than yours is and more recent![]()
I didn't call you a liar, I see no reason to raise the bar that high. I just stated your info wasn't true, my info I posted came from the facebook page, true. But I also have several contacts at Kel Tec including a customer service rep and a factory engineer. Who is a member with me on another forum.
Kel Tec doesn't operate that way, they produce what they produce...then the products are shipped to distributors. They don't build to "order." They build approx 4000 various weapons per week, that's the number that makes George happy. They are currently building 5-600 PMRs per week, just like always. Most departments are running 7 days, 3 shifts. They don't "stop" normal production in order to fill backorders.
I've been to the factory, and have been through it on 2 separate tours. I have no reason to show off, the facts speak for themselves. You're rude.

you insinuated i am a liar
you are an arrogant showoff
fortunately, many of the other members, have much more class - thank goodness for that - have a nice day
i wish you the best - sorry to have abused your fragile ego - by getting correct info to this forum
A .22 mag in a pistol the size of a p3at would be awesome, however, rim-fire is usually blow back operated, I'm not aware of any locked breached rim-fires, but to keep it that small and light kel-tec would have to be the first to do that. a pmr-30 and rmr-30 in .22 lr would also be nice.
Considering Ruger & Taurus have come out with polymer framed Wheel guns like the LCR. Why not Kel Tec? I also would like to see a .30 carbine Long gun. I Have long been a M-1 Carbine fan. With tons of surplus 15 & 30 round mags, it seems like a untaped resource. A round that really could use a modern platform.
